Retired ComradesThe early minute book of the Association shows an entry “No Sir, I think they never die.” This was the reply that Major Nicholson gave to an enquiry when the point in issue was the length of time that the policemen were a charge on the community by drawing their pensions. Long may it be so!

Thank you CASPER for 'being there'

Surrey-Constabulary.com wishes to place on record it's admiration and thanks for the superb work being done by the members of CASPER.Volunteers who, mainly in their own time and at their own expense, take the time to honour and remember colleagues who have passed on by attending their funerals in full ceremonial uniform. It is a comfort to those left behind to see the respect accorded and to know that their loved ones are not forgotten. CASPER have attended at the funeral of serving officer PC Paul Soulsby aged 37 in Penzance and attended the funeral of the late Cyril Dumbleton who was almost 101. They have also attended overseas events to remember the fallen. CLICK VIDEO TO VISIT THEIR WEBSITE.
